The Bud Chair in Black from Cafe Solutions is a budget-friendly compact chair featuring sleek black, a timeless, versatile finish that pairs with any interior scheme. Tailored to the rigours of Australian hospitality, it supplies the sturdy durability and cosy comfort patrons expect. The Bud Chair plastic chairs are engineered for quick turnover, allowing staff to re-arrange floor plans in seconds.
Made with a single-mould injection process from polypropylene, the Bud Chair features reinforcement for commercial applications. Because it is moulded in a single, seamless form, there are no joints or fasteners to create weak points. By incorporating UV stabilisers during fabrication, the chair’s colour stays vibrant under long sun exposure, extending its outdoor service life.
Despite its entry-level price, the Bud uses the same single-mould injection process as premium models. The black finish is integrated into the chair’s mould, not applied as paint, so it won’t chip, peel or scratch.
Ideal for startup cafes, pop-up events, school canteens, and budget-conscious fit-outs, the Bud Chair in Black requires no assembly, just unpack and place. Stackable for neat storage, it frees up valuable floor area in establishments that often need to re-configure or pack down. Starting at $39.60 + GST per chair, the product gives great commercial-grade value, especially for extensive fleet buys.

A quick daily clean is all that’s needed. Following service, use a soft cloth soaked in warm, soapy water to wipe down the Bud Chair. Clear any soap with a rinse, then let the chair dry naturally without wiping. A regular kitchen spray does the job of removing coffee rings, sauce drips and greasy fingerprints, without any specialised products. Steel wool and abrasive pads should be avoided, since they tend to scratch and dull the finish.
Although polypropylene plastic copes with Australian weather, chairs left out in direct sun every day will have their colour soften gradually over the months. Because UV protection is incorporated in the moulding process, colour degradation is reduced, while covering the stacked items at season’s end adds extra durability. Near the shore, a weekly fresh-water wipe-down prevents any salt accumulation.
Since the material repels moisture, mildew is unable to penetrate the chair. When you see surface mould following humid conditions, a white vinegar-moistened cloth clears it away swiftly. Proper basic care means the Bud Chair in Black will stay sharp-edged for years.
