Using polypropylene single-mould injection, the Specta Chair is reinforced for heavy-duty commercial use. The product’s seamless one-piece mould eliminates joints and fasteners, so weak points that might loosen or break simply aren’t there. The inclusion of UV stabilisers in production slows colour fading from continuous sun, prolonging the chair’s outdoor durability.
With its simple style and timeless elegance, the Specta easily adapts from one venue to the next. The sage finish is incorporated into the chair’s moulding, so it never chips, peels or scratches with use.

Minimal everyday maintenance is all that the Specta Chair needs. Warm soapy water and a soft cloth are all that’s needed after each shift. When dried sauce, sunscreen or drink spills appear, a non-abrasive household cleaner will lift them away safely, leaving the chair unscathed. Do not clean with scouring pads, steel wool or any solvent-based product, because they can wear away the finish.
Sun-protective coating is applied during making, but long-term, constant exposure will gently wash out the colour. Covering chairs when not in use, or at least stacking them out of the sun, retains their original tone for a longer period. To keep chairs free of salt, rinse them with fresh water every week if your venue is by the ocean.
With polypropylene plastic refusing to absorb water or harbour bacteria, mould and mildew are able to form only on its surface. Diluted vinegar, lightly applied and wiped, handles it promptly.
