When space is at a premium, the Specta Chair plastic chair folds flat for easy transport and storage.
Constructed using single-mould injection of polypropylene, the Specta Chair is reinforced for heavy-duty commercial use. When the mould is crafted as one seamless piece, joints and fasteners disappear, so nothing can loosen or break. When UV stabilisers are embedded in the production process, the chair maintains its colour despite continuous sun, thereby extending its outdoor service life. The Specta Chair design incorporates polypropylene plastic that is both fire-retardant and compliant with Australian safety standards.
The Specta’s understated style and enduring elegance allow it to transition smoothly from one area to another. The terracotta finish is integral to the chair’s moulding, not a surface coat, so it resists chipping, peeling and scratching.

Keeping the Specta Chair in Terracotta in top condition requires only straightforward routine maintenance. Warm water combined with a soft cloth and a dab of dish soap will clear routine grime. Wipe, then rinse and set aside to air dry. A standard non-abrasive kitchen cleaner easily breaks down stubborn food, grease and sunscreen stains. With its smooth polypropylene coating, any spill will bead up on top, meaning prompt wiping prevents most stains from setting.
These chairs are treated with UV stabilisation at the factory, slowing the fading process outdoors. To achieve the longest colour life, be sure to store or cover the chairs whenever the venue is not operating.
